A closer look

This month's theme is for everyone who has ever felt something they couldn't quite name. February has a way of stirring up the soft, complicated corners of the heart — the ones that hold first glances, almost-moments, and memories set to music. You don't have to have all the answers to appreciate the feeling. Sometimes the most meaningful experiences are the ones that live just outside the words, in the space between almost and always.

This Month's Yarnable Extras

Because every knit deserves a little love letter. These red heart-shaped buttons from  Buttons Galore and More are the perfect finishing touch for your next project — whether you're sewing up a cardigan for someone special or just treating yourself (the most valid option). Small but mighty, and cute enough to be the star of any project.

Every knit deserves a little optimism. This adorable mini tape measure keychain is the practical notion you didn't know you needed — small enough to toss in your project bag, bold enough to keep your gauge anxiety in check. The mantra "It'll Block Out" is the encouragement we're all giving ourselves mid-project, and now it can live on your keychain too. Measure twice, trust the block, repeat.

Self-care, but make it romantic. This Cup of Love nurturing rose herbal tea from Big Heart Tea Company is the soft, caffeine-free hug that pairs perfectly with your favorite WIP. Two sachets of delicate floral calm — because you deserve a moment that's just for you, needles in hand and kettle on.

Softness, Color & Care

What Makes This
Yarn So Soft?

A Yarn's softness is determined by the fineness of its fibers. This base features extrafine merino wool measuring just 19.5 microns (among the finest commercially available) resulting in an incredibly soft yarn that feels gentle against the skin.

How To Care For
Your Yarn

We recommend gently hand washing your makes in cold water to keep them looking their best. After washing, reshape your item and lay it flat on a clean, dry surface to air dry. This method helps preserve the vibrant colors and softness of the yarn.

Understanding
Color Differences

We strive for color consistency across batches, but due to the nature of hand-dyed yarn, color variations may occur, even within the same dye bath. Monitor and screen settings may also affect how colors appear. For multi-skein projects, we recommend alternating skeins every few rows.
