Shipping Policy

We're excited to get your yarn to you! Below you'll find everything you need to know about how we ship orders and what to expect once your package is on its way.

Order Processing

Orders are processed and shipped Tuesday through Friday, and most orders ship within 1-3 business days. We don't ship on weekends or holidays. Once your order is on its way, we'll send you a confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow along.

Domestic Shipping (United States)

All U.S. orders ship via USPS Ground Advantage for a flat rate of $6. Delivery typically takes 2-9 business days after shipment, depending on your location. We're happy to ship to P.O. Boxes and military addresses (APO/FPO).

International Shipping

We love our international customers! Orders outside the U.S. ship via USPS First-Class Package International Service, and shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. We ship to all countries where USPS delivery is available.

Please keep in mind that customs fees, import duties, and taxes are the responsibility of the customer and aren't included in our shipping rates. International delivery times vary by destination and aren't guaranteed—once a package leaves our studio, delivery is managed by USPS and your country's postal service.

Combining Orders

If you place multiple orders and would like them combined, please contact us as soon as possible. If we're able to accommodate your request before the orders ship, we'll combine them and refund any shipping overages once the combined postage is calculated.

Please note: Hypnotic Yarn orders and Yarnable subscription boxes always ship separately and are unable to be combined.

Local Pickup

Local pickup isn't currently available, but we're hoping to offer in-person shopping opportunities in the future. Stay tuned!

Yarnable Subscription Shipping

Yarnable subscription boxes ship separately from Hypnotic Yarn orders and are unable to be combined.

When Yarnable Boxes Ship

Yarnable boxes ship on the last business day of each month via USPS Ground Advantage. Once your box is on its way, we'll send you an email with tracking information.

Yarnable Shipping Rates

  • Domestic (U.S.): Shipping typically ranges from $5.00 to $7.00 per box, depending on your zip code
  • Canada: Flat rate of $15.50 USD per box
  • Other International: Flat rate of $25.00 USD per box

Please keep in mind that customs duties or taxes for international shipments aren't included in the shipping cost and are the responsibility of the subscriber upon delivery.

Lost, Delayed, or Missing Packages

Once a package leaves our studio, delivery is handled by the shipping carrier. We provide tracking information for all orders, but unfortunately we don't have control over shipping delays, carrier errors, or stolen packages once the shipment is in transit.

If your package appears delayed, lost, or is marked as delivered but you haven't received it, here are some steps that can help:

  1. Check your tracking information for the most recent scan location and status
  2. Contact your local post office — USPS can often provide GPS details on where a package was scanned as delivered
  3. File a claim with the carrier — Most USPS Ground Advantage shipments include insurance coverage up to $100

For international orders, we recommend reaching out to your country's postal service once the package has arrived in your country for the most up-to-date delivery information.
