Yarnable Monthly Giveaway Official Rules

Here are the rules for our monthly Yarnable giveaway, whichever game we're playing that month.

Sponsor and eligibility

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

The Yarnable Monthly Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is sponsored by Hypnotic Yarn, LLC, 23 Londonderry Rd, Unit 12, Londonderry, NH 03053 (the "Sponsor").

The Giveaway is open worldwide to people aged 18 or older. It excludes employees of Hypnotic Yarn, LLC and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings and children), anyone living in the same household, whether related or not, and anyone otherwise connected with running or judging the Giveaway. Void where prohibited by law.

By taking part, you (the "Entrant") agree to be fully bound by these Official Rules and confirm that you meet the eligibility requirements. You also agree that Hypnotic Yarn's decisions on all matters relating to the Giveaway are final and binding.

Giveaway period and the monthly game

The Giveaway is a recurring monthly promotion. Each monthly Giveaway period begins on the 1st of the month and ends at 11:59 PM ET on the 20th of the same month (the "Entry Period"). Entries received after the Entry Period closes will not be accepted.

Each month's Giveaway uses a puzzle or game, such as a word search, crossword or website scavenger hunt (the "Monthly Game"). The Monthly Game and the prize are announced each month.

The Sponsor may change, suspend or cancel the Giveaway at any time without prior notice.

How to enter

Subscriber entry: Yarnable subscribers can complete the Monthly Game included in their monthly Yarnable insert and email a photo of their completed game to hello@hypnoticyarn.com by 11:59 PM ET on the 20th of the month.

Free entry (no purchase necessary): Anyone can request a free copy of the month's Monthly Game by emailing hello@hypnoticyarn.com with the subject line "Giveaway Game Request." Once you've completed it, enter in either of these ways:

• By email: Email a photo or screenshot of your completed game to hello@hypnoticyarn.com with the subject line "Giveaway Entry" by 11:59 PM ET on the 20th of the month.
• By mail: Mail your completed game to Hypnotic Yarn, LLC, Attn: Monthly Giveaway, 23 Londonderry Rd, Unit 12, Londonderry, NH 03053. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by the 15th of the month and received by the 20th of the month.

For a game with answers instead of a marked-up page, such as a website scavenger hunt, your completed game is your list of answers.

All entry methods have an equal chance of winning. The limit is one (1) entry per person per monthly Giveaway period, whichever entry method you use. Entries that are incomplete, illegible or don't follow these Official Rules may be disqualified at Hypnotic Yarn's sole discretion. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

Prizes and taxes

Each month's prize is named in that month's Giveaway announcement. The approximate retail value ("ARV") of each monthly prize will not exceed $32.00 USD unless otherwise stated.

The details of each prize are decided solely by Hypnotic Yarn. No cash or other prize substitution is allowed except at the Sponsor's sole discretion. Prizes are non-transferable.

Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, local and foreign taxes on their prize. For prizes valued at $600 or more, winners may need to provide a valid taxpayer identification number and complete any required tax forms before the prize is awarded.

Winner selection and prize delivery

Every entry with a correctly completed Monthly Game goes into a random drawing. Winners are selected under the supervision of Hypnotic Yarn on or around the 28th of the month and notified by email within forty-eight (48) hours of the drawing.

Hypnotic Yarn is not liable if a winner doesn't receive the notice because of spam, junk email or other security settings, or because the winner gave incorrect or non-working contact information.

If a winner can't be contacted, is ineligible, or doesn't claim the prize within seventy-two (72) hours of the notification being sent, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected at Hypnotic Yarn's discretion.

Prizes for Yarnable subscribers are included in the winner's next Yarnable shipment. Prizes for non-subscriber winners are shipped within ten (10) days of the winner confirming their shipping address, in line with New Hampshire law. Shipping is free for the winner, including international winners.

Winners list

For the name and state or country of residence of each monthly winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Hypnotic Yarn, LLC, Attn: Giveaway Winners List, 23 Londonderry Rd, Unit 12, Londonderry, NH 03053. Requests must be received within sixty (60) days of the drawing date.

Rights you grant us

By entering the Giveaway, you agree that Hypnotic Yarn, anyone acting on its behalf, and its licensees, successors and assigns may, where permitted by law, print, publish, broadcast, distribute and use your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Giveaway and biographical information. They may do this in any media now known or developed later, worldwide and without time limit, for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations and promotional purposes, without further compensation, notice, review or consent.

Limitation of liability

By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Hypnotic Yarn, LLC and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from:

1. your participation in the Giveaway or your acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize or any part of it;
2. technical failures of any kind, including the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, software or other equipment;
3. the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmission, telephone or internet service;
4. unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Giveaway;
5. electronic or human error in running the Giveaway or processing entries.

Disputes

This Giveaway is governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to conflict of law rules. As a condition of taking part, you agree that any disputes that can't be resolved between the parties, and any causes of action arising from or connected with this Giveaway, will be resolved individually, without any form of class action, and only in a court in Rockingham County, New Hampshire that has jurisdiction.

The Giveaway is run by Hypnotic Yarn. It is not sponsored, endorsed or run by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Cratejoy or any other social media or third-party platform.
