Inside Your DK Advent
Wrapped, coordinated, and ready for December
Twelve hand-dyed minis:
Each set includes five 20g DK mini skeins plus one 50g DK skein. Every color is small-batch dyed and individually wrapped. Choose the minis + 50g only, add a 100g bonus skein, or choose the full set with the bonus skein and a few small extra goodies.
A beginner-friendly cowl pattern
The included cowl pattern is designed for this exact DK palette. It uses simple mosaic knitting to create a beautiful colorwork look, while only working with one color at a time. (You do NOT need the 100g bonus skein to complete the full pattern)

Each skein is wrapped and numbered. Open your skeins one at a time across December at your own pace.
Pattern yardage note:
The DK advent skeins include all the yarn needed to knit the complete cowl pattern. The optional 100g bonus skein is dyed to coordinate beautifully with the set, but it is not required for the cowl.

The yarn is completely different between the fingering and dk weight sets, so you'll never get the same colors twice. The only thing they have in common are the optional extra goodies.
So if you want both, add the extras to just one set to skip the duplicates.

What knitters usually ask.
When will my kit ship?
All kits ship in mid-November so they arrive well before December 1. You'll receive a tracking email when your order ships.
What stays a mystery, and what do I know going in?
The individual yarn colors are the mystery. You'll know the yarn base, fiber content, total weight, yardage, and the inspiration palette (if you choose to view it) before you buy.
Can I buy both sets?
Absolutely! The fingering and DK advents use completely different yarn colors, so the palettes do not repeat. Only the small extra goodies are shared.
Are these patterns difficult?
Both patterns are designed to be beginner-friendly. They're relaxing to knit but have enough interest to keep you engaged day to day. If you have any questions, please send them our way before ordering. We're always happy to help.
Can I return a preorder?
Because every kit is hand-dyed to order, preorders are final sale. We're happy to answer any questions before you check out.
How do I get the pattern?
The pattern is delivered as a PDF via Ravelry when your kit ships. You'll receive a separate email with download instructions.
