Do not use yarn directly from a hank. Doing so will cause the yarn to tangle and may render it unusable.

A: For all of our yarns, we recommend that you hand wash
yarns and finished items in cold water, and lay flat to dry. Superwash yarns
can be machine washed and dried, if desired.However, if placing your item in the washer/dryer, we highly
recommend placing the item(s) in a delicates bag first.
A: All dye is properly set and yarn thoroughly washed
and rinsed; however, it is normal to see some slight bleeding of color for the
first wash or two. This occurs primarily with neon, red, and sometimes teal
dyes. Please refer to “How should I care for my yarn” question for the
best way to wash your finished project.
A: Hypnotic Yarn often has trunk shows at local yarn
