Return & Refund Policy
We want you to feel completely confident trying our yarn for the first time. That’s why we offer a no-questions-asked return on your first order, including prepaid return postage, as long as the yarn is unused and in its original condition. Just contact us within 7 days of receipt. Because when we say we want you to knit with yarn you love, we really, really, mean it!
For all other orders, returns are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If you ever have questions about yarn weight, fiber content, or choosing the right color for your project, we’re happy to help before you buy. Our goal is to make sure you absolutely love what arrives on your doorstep.

Returns
Our standard return window is 14 days from the date of delivery. If more than 14 days have passed since you received your order, we’re unable to offer a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in original condition, and in the original packaging.
For returns not due to our error, refunds will be issued for the purchase price only, minus original shipping charges.
We are not able to accept returns on:

Custom-dyed orders

Gift cards

Downloadable or digital products

Printed patterns

Items that are not in their original condition, are damaged, or have missing parts for reasons not due to our error

Items returned more than 14 days after delivery
A receipt or proof of purchase is required to complete a return.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll email you to confirm it has arrived and to notify you of approval or denial.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original method of payment. Please allow several business days for your bank or credit card provider to post the refund.
Missing or delayed refunds
If you haven’t received your refund yet:

Check your bank account again.

Contact your credit card company — some providers take additional time to post refunds.

Contact your bank — processing delays are common.

Shipping
First-Time Orders (Within 7 Days of Receipt)
If this is your first purchase with us and you need to make a return within 7 days of receiving your order, contact us for a prepaid return label. We’ll email the label to you as a printable PDF.
Yarn must be dropped off at the post office within one week of receiving the prepaid label. If the label expires, the return will follow the standard shipping guidelines below.
All Other Orders
For returns beyond a first-time order, or any return initiated after 14 days:

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

If a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund.
For returns, we recommend using a trackable shipping method and purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot process a return unless the item is received by our studio. If a package is lost in transit and insurance was purchased, you may file a claim directly with USPS for reimbursement.
Lost or Missing Packages
Once a package leaves our studio, its delivery timeline and handling are managed entirely by the carrier. If your package appears delayed, lost, or is marked as delivered but not received, we recommend contacting USPS so they can open an inquiry and locate the shipment.
All USPS Ground Advantage shipments include automatic insurance coverage up to $100, so if USPS confirms a package is lost, you can file a claim directly with them for reimbursement. We’re always happy to provide tracking details or documentation to support your claim.
