From Concept to Color: The Makers Behind the Kit
We may have started out as strangers in a business group, but over the past year mutual encouragement blossomed into a true friendship, and that’s when we decided to create this collaboration together. We’re so excited to share The Blossoming Garden with you and can’t wait for you to experience it!
Tonia Lyons
Tonia is a TKGA certified knitting instructor, Master Hand Knitter, and knitwear designer based in Quebec, Canada. She enjoys teaching knitters how to really understand their knitting with the goal of helping them become more confident about tackling new projects or techniques. Her work has been featured in Cast On, Interweave, Knit Now, and other publications.
Valerie Moreno
Valerie Moreno is a Crochet and Knit Instructor and an internationally published designer, Valley Vista debuted in Knitty; the first free online fiber art magazine. She is also part of the team organizing Yarncentrick, an annual pop-up fiber festival held in Maryland. When she’s not immersed in her latest work in progress (WIP), she enjoys life in New Mexico, the Land of Enchantment.
Cheryl Ham
Cheryl is the creative mind (and hands) behind Hypnotic Yarn and the Yarnable subscription box. She curates yarn colorways that inspire knitters and crocheters to create their own masterpieces. Seeing these creations come to life is what drives her passion for the craft. Cheryl loves bringing spring's beauty to the yarn world with colorways that celebrate the season and the joy of crafting.
